LOVE & LOSS, and how to protect your wellbeing

a moving target? what kind of fruit are you? fresh vibrant, colourful tasty is your outer layer hard and protective or soft and mealeable? When my husband died I felt exposed, as though my nice comfy blanket that i had been wrapped in for the past 30 years had been ripped off me… so we need to gently put a new soft comfy blanket back on so that we can begin to feel safe again, build a new protective shield, just like fruit does so that our inner selves are protected against the external windy, harsh, destructive elements. we do this by being self aware, knowing our needs. So I went on a journey of self development, my confidence had to be re-built. Our significant others are often our best cheerleaders! so when the team does not exist it is a very lonely place. Building our mental health back to a good place. It takes time but with the help of undergoing mindfulness therapy we can do it!
